Get Organized & Reclaim Your Life
If any part of that story rings a bell, you may be one of the millions of Americans suffocating under piles of paper, stressed by the mess and frantic when you can’t find something you really need!
Working on site, I can help you methodically clear away years’ worth of accumulated, often unnecessary papers and documents. At the same time, I’ll help you create an easy-to-use system for managing papers on an ongoing basis, keeping your home or office organized and making papers accessible.
Does this scenario sound familiar:
You started the day with a neighborhood association meeting, met a friend for lunch then ran to the bank before your doctor’s appointment. By then it was time to pick up the kids at school and you still had to stop at the grocery store. 5:30 already?! Where did the day go? So much for your water aerobics class.
As you drop your purse and run for the phone, your son brings the mail — 4 bills, a wedding invitation, 3 catalogs, 3 explanations of benefits (or are they bills?) and 2 more magazines (you haven’t even looked at last month’s yet!). And by the way, both kids have permission slips for an upcoming speaker — someone you’d like to learn more about online before you sign the forms.
6:15 and dinner is still in bags on the counter. You scoop up the mail and the permissions slips, your receipts from the doctor and notes on the new landscaping policy from your meeting, look for a clean surface and finally pull open the laundry room door and pile everything on the dryer (at least there it’s safe until you can get to it!).
Dinner. Homework with the kids. Barely time to chat with your husband and it’s 9:30. You know you should double-check that benefits statement that seemed to say you owed money for the tests your doctor said were fully covered but you’re just so tired. Maybe you’re better off relaxing for a minute, taking another look at that patio furniture in the Home Depot mailer from last week. Now where is it…
First Hour Free
Whichever approach you’re looking for (or even if you don’t yet know), the first hour we meet is free. This is mostly a time for questions and answers and getting to know each other.
After the first hour, if you’re undecided you can always get back in touch with me at a later date, or, if you’re ready to go, we can get started right away!
Getting Organized Can Really Pay Off!
- Recovered $500 amid neglected stacks of paper (withdrawn in preparation for a vacation and lost 3 years earlier)
- Recovered $1,700 in dividends from checks that had been stacked out of sight and out of mind until the “void after” date had passed
